I am a passionate amateur photographer from Bath in the glorious Westcountry. I shoot mainly for my own pleasure, but I like to share my work in exhibitions and competitions as well as offering prints and gifts for sale. All of the galleries on my site offer the ability to purchase prints or image licenses whenever these are available. I have a range of gifts for purchase with worldwide fulfilment through my Redbubble Shop.

When I am not out photographing, I work as an architectural engineering consultant and teacher. If you were looking for my business website, it is here.

I have been shooting since the age of seven, when my Mum gave me her neglected Kodak 126 Instamatic to play with. I have shot with film cameras ranging from a 16mm miniature Minolta to medium format. However, like many others, the digital revolution opened new doors for my photographic expression. These days I shoot mainly on Canon equipment.

I love to photograph landscapes and the obligatory cute animals, but recently I have found myself drawn to more abstract subjects. I have been exploring the use of intentional camera movement to render landscape scenes as impressionist images representing my feelings about a place or subject. I also have a project called Fugitive Light which is about creating ephemeral abstract images born in chaos.

I have been an active member of Bath Photographic Society since 2018 and am currently the programme secretary.
