“I sense light as the giver of all presences, and material as spent light. What is made by light casts a shadow, and the shadow belongs to light.”
Fine Art Architectural Photography
In my day job as an architectural engineer, I have often been inspired by the work of architect Louis Kahn. Khan frequently spoke about the qualities of light in buildings. Particularly how light and shadow reveal form and character.
When photographing architecture, particularly modern architecture with its graphical shapes and planes, I sometimes enjoy playing with light and shadow in a way that didn’t necessarily exist in stark reality, but as it exists in my interpretation of the architect’s intent.
These images are available for sale as fine art giclee prints, using archival quality papers, inks and boards, so the prints will last a lifetime.
Prints will be 16 x 12 inches, or nearest equivalent, in a standard size 20 x 16 inch mount, ready for your choice of frame. Mounts will be dark grey as shown. You are free of course remove the mount and replace it with any size and colour of your choice to suit your own preferred frame, but the mount also helps protect the print during delivery.

(Prints will of course be without any web watermarks.)
