I am so lucky to have the day job that I do.
Many years ago an architect friend of mine, Ian Ritchie, designed a glasshouse for a new landscape garden in the small village of Terrasson-Lavilledieu in the Dordogne. The time has come to upgrade the facilities in the glasshouse and Ian asked me to analyse the indoor environmental conditions in order to come up with proposals. This of course meant visiting site to install monitoring equipment.
Having finished my tasks during the day, I had an hour or so before my train back to Bordeaux, so I had a chance to look around the gardens and the rest of the village. The weather was less than kind, it being October, but I still managed to find a few satisfactory shots.
